The climate in Manila is officially 'tropical wet and dry' and that sums up how the Manila weather is likely to be any time of year. Temperatures in Manila  vary between 20 °C and 38 °C depending on when you visit. Average temperatures are 31 °C in the daytime and about 23 °C in the night. The humidity though, which averages at 77%, can make it feel a lot hotter than it really is. Carry light, loose fitting cotton clothing in pale colours and you'll stay cool. Add in a light jacket for cooler evenings.

The dry season arrives between January and April which is a good time to plan a holiday here if you intend doing a lot of water based activities. When the wet season swings in each May, it lasts all the way to December. Rough seas during this time should be avoided since this is typhoon season.
